I will be having my first solo exhibition of Paintings "Horses of Vienna" at Number 8, Pershore Community Arts Centre, from 6th December 2007- 2nd January 2008, these painting are inspired by masters Rubens and Van Dyck combined with a recent visit to Vienna but the paintings have a strangely modern twist!.

Richard P Gill Started his painting career in 1996 after finishing his design course at Sotheby’s London and previously studying Fine Art at Cheltenham. Richard’s paintings take the form of elegant, finely executed Mural and Trompe L’oeil work, painted directly onto the wall. He has a growing amount of clients all over the UK and increasingly far further a field commissioning ‘grand scale’ paintings both in acrylic and oils which are finished and framed to the highest of standards.

Richard works from his studio in Worcestershire and on location.

‘My working career has brought me to many famous and beautiful houses over the past 10 years, both as a muralist and a fine artist, including a eighteen month contract at one house and twelve months at another, working with fascinating and successful clients.

In 2004 I exhibited for the first time at Decorex International which was a terrific success leading to many exciting ongoing projects. In 2005 I exhibited at the House and Garden Fair, Olympia, and in 2006 another successful show back at Decorex International. Summer 2007 I exhibited my Murals at Grand Designs Live, Excel in London."I now look forward to my first of many fine art exhibitions"
